Happy Cyber Monday everyone! Have you done any shopping online today? I haven't bought anything but did go to a couple of sites looking for items. The sites were really slow - they must be busy!!

I did make a $315 payment online today for Buddy's 8th grade Washington DC trip. Now I don't have any money left to buy gifts LOL!

Dress Up

Missy is always talking about playing dress up with our dog, Boomer. She starts planning what his Halloween costume is going to be months before the event. Every holiday that rolls around is a chance to get the dog dressed for the occasion. Plus size fashions has some great costumes for pets! Missy will be in heaven looking at these costumes – I’m sure she’ll have more fun shopping than Boomer will have actually wearing the costume! When she's done shopping, I can check out the plus size fashions for my mom.

2010 Calendars

It’s always fun to search for the perfect calendar each year. When I think about it, it’s amazing how many calendars I use. I have a wall calendar at work, a wall calendar at home, and a weekly planner that I take to meetings. Sometimes it’s hard to find just what I need – I can’t find the right refill for my planner or I don’t like the style of the wall calendars. Promotional desk calendars is a place where I can find everything I need. The prices can’t be beat, especially for those businesses who want to print calendars to give to their customers. I can’t wait to browse the great selections!

Black Friday shopping

Every year I swear that I'm not going to go shopping on Black Friday. But every year I end up getting sucked in! My problem is that I don't go shopping for gifts for other people - I end up shopping for gifts for myself!! This year I'm interested in finding a cheap laptop and a Kitchenaid stand mixer! I can't wait to read the ads on Thursday and plan my day on Friday!

Postcards

I LOVE postcards! I especially like using them when I’m sending invitations for my kid’s birthday parties. It’s fast and cheaper to send a postcard. Postcard templates has the best selection that I’ve found online. Their artwork is great and you can order any number of postcards – from just a handful to thousands. And the best part about it is that they’ll even mail them for you – how fast and simple is that!! They are also carrying traditional greeting cards now, so check them out when you’re getting ready to order your holiday cards. They also do business cards, letterhead and envelopes. I’m sure you’ll love them – I do!

Wood Blinds

We’ve lived in our house for eight years now and I still don’t have window treatments in our family room or breakfast area. We live in a wooded area and haven’t felt like people are looking in on us, but I would really like to finally finish the decorating in those rooms and wood blinds would fit perfectly! Venetian blinds has tons of great looking choices. I can’t wait to get a price quote right online. All I have to do is make my choice and type in the dimensions and the quote will pop up. I know I’ll be able to find something that will fit perfectly in our family room and breakfast area.

Thinking about Spring Break!

It's starting to get cold in Wisconsin and that naturally has me thinking that if I'm cold in November, how am I going to feel in March? I'll be really ready for a warm weather getaway! We went to Florida two years in a row and rented a townhome near the ocean. I would love to do that again and I found the perfect place to find exactly what we need - vacation rental homes

It didn't take me long to find exactly what I wanted! I fell in love with first one I clicked on - Destin condo. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps ten! It has a full kitchen so after a day of sun and sand we could make a nice meal. For only $1500 a week, this is a definite option!

The second one was every bit as great - check it out - Destin townhome but unfortunately the prices weren't listed so I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not.

I'm definitely going to give our friends a call to see if we can make one more driving trip to Florida this spring!

Diesel Underwear

Diesel Underwear? What's that? I had never heard of Diesel Underwear and the name had me very curious - I had to check it out! With a couple of guys in the house and Christmas coming, it might be fun to surprise them with some really funky underwear! (Not the plain old boring underwear and socks like we used to get when we were kids!)

I checked out the Women's selection and I'm sure Missy would love what's available there! She just needs to get a little bigger so she can fit into adult clothing!

End of First Quarter

I can't believe we're already a week into 2nd quarter of 8th and 4th grade! Time flies! Report cards come home tomorrow, although we have online access to Buddy's grades, so I basically know what his report card will say. We don't have online access to Missy's grades and I'm glad. I shouldn't need to follow a 4th grader's grades quite as closely. She was doing well on her mid-quarter reports, so I'm assuming that her report card will be fine.

I'm thankful that my kids do well in school!
