The kids are growing up

We were at a Latin American Culture Camp this past week. (To learn more, visit La Semana.) It was so fun watching the toddlers and preschoolers running around and dancing to the music. You just want to pick them up and squeeze them! But I have to admit that I am enjoying the fact that my kids are growing up and I don't have to watch them every single minute. I can take a nap in the middle of the afternoon if I want to; we don't have to get babysitters; the kids can buckle themselves in the car; they can clip their own nails!!!! There are a lot of advantages to kids growing up! I guess I'll just have to hug and squeeze my friend's little kids!
