A Historic Day

It's been a lot of fun watching all of the inaugural events today. Something struck me this morning when they were talking about a 'peaceful transition of power'. So many other countries don't have peaceful transitions of power - the current government or leader is overtaken against his will and the country is usually in turmoil or having a civil war. We're so lucky to live in the U.S. where we've never had to deal with that sort of thing.
